Meet Sujin
Hello there! I'm Sujin, a Speech Pathologist based in Brisbane and founder of SKSP.
I support children, adolescents, adults, and older adults with a wide range of communication and swallowing needs. My experience spans speech, language, literacy, social communication, AAC, voice, cognitive-communication, and dysphagia across home, community, school, aged care, and telehealth settings.
I have a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent individuals and am passionate about helping people communicate in ways that feel authentic, meaningful, and empowering. My approach is neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based, and focused on supporting participation in everyday life.
I believe therapy should be practical, collaborative, and tailored to the individual. My goal is to help people communicate with confidence, advocate for themselves, connect with others, and participate in the activities that matter most to them.
When I'm not working, you'll usually find me spending time with my family, driving my children around to one of their many extracurricular activities, or working on one of the many projects I've enthusiastically said yes to.
Why choose SKSP?
I support children, teenagers, adults, and older adults, allowing me to provide continuity of care across different stages of life.
I combine experience in both neurodiversity-affirming practice and medical speech pathology, including communication and swallowing support.
I focus on practical strategies that can be used in everyday life, not just during therapy sessions.
I take the time to get to know each person and tailor support to their individual strengths, goals, and circumstances.
I work collaboratively with families, carers, educators, support workers, and other professionals because the best outcomes happen when everyone is working together.
I genuinely enjoy what I do and consider it a privilege to support people to communicate, connect, and participate in the things that matter most to them.
